What brings you to LA?
Bait Aaron is an Orthodox Edut Hamizrach shul and kollel at 301 S. La Peer Dr., corner of 3rd Street. Pick your trip for a quick plan.
- Fly in by Thursday so Friday is free for Shabbos shopping on Pico.
- Weekday mornings: Shacharit at 7:00am, then Morning Kollel at 7:45am and 8:45am.
- Nights: Night Kollel from 8:30 to 10:00pm, then Arbit. Late Arbit at 10:00pm, Monday to Thursday.
- Shabbos: Shacharit at 7:30am or the 9:30am JFK Minyan, then Kiddush from the grill and the smoker.
- Book a block of rooms within a short walk: the Four Seasons on Doheny is about 4 minutes away, and 12 hotels are within 23 minutes.
- For an aufruf or bar mitzvah, the 9:30am JFK Minyan ends with Kiddush, which is a natural place for the family to gather.
- Order Shabbos food for out-of-town family from a kosher caterer by Thursday.
- Print the Shabbat card from our emergency page for each hotel room.
- Stay at the Four Seasons on Doheny, about a 4 minute walk. OK Kosher lists it as a meat caterer and take-out (pas Yisrael).
- Friday: pick up dessert and challah at a Pico bakery, then Mincha about 25 minutes before sunset.
- Shabbos: daven at 9:30am and stay for Kiddush. Walk the quiet streets of Beverly Hills in the afternoon.
- Sunday night: dinner at Malka on Wilshire (RCC, meat), about 21 minutes on foot.
- Walk from the South Tower Street Lobby: about 0.5 mi, about 11 minutes, west on 3rd Street to La Peer.
- Shabbat elevators: Elevator 1 in the South Tower and Elevator 38 in Saperstein stop at every floor.
- Chai Lifeline pantry, Room 4202 North Tower, is open 24 hours with kosher meals, cholov Yisroel dairy, electric candles and grape juice.
- Ateres Avigail has a hospital apartment about five minutes from Cedars-Sinai that sleeps 3.
- Weekday Shacharit is at 7:00am, so you can daven and still make a 9:00am meeting.
- Mincha and Arbit are about 25 minutes before sunset, with late Arbit at 10:00pm Monday to Thursday.
- Staying over Shabbat? L’Ermitage (11 min) and the SLS (17 min) are both an easy walk.
- Lunch near the office: Beverly Hills Thai on Burton Way (RCC, meat) is 6 minutes from shul.
- Check the eruv on Friday before using a stroller: (877) 378-8463.
- Hotel Beverly Terrace (14 min) and AKA Beverly Hills (20 min) are both on the Cedars-Sinai hotel list.
- Shop at the Ralphs Kosher Experience on La Brea (RCC) for snacks and breakfast for the room.
- Shabbos morning: 9:30am minyan, then Kiddush. Seudat Shelishit after Mincha.
