Two spaces, one address

A kosher event venue with room to celebrate

From an intimate shalom zachar to a Shabbat Kiddush for about 200, Bait Aaron hosts simchas of up to 300 guests across the indoor hall and the covered outdoor area, right at the shul.

The indoor hall

Our shul hall is ready for your simcha. Set long tables for a seudah, a buffet for a Kiddush, or rows of chairs for a siyum and divrei Torah. Because the hall is part of the shul, the davening, the aliyah and the meal happen without anyone getting in a car.

  • Kitchen facilities for both meat and dairy
  • Tables and chairs on hand, or bring your own
  • Bring any kosher caterer you like, or let Bait Aaron cater it

The outdoor simcha area

Los Angeles weather was made for celebrating outside. Our large outdoor simcha area is covered and lit, so the simcha can run from a sunny afternoon into the evening. There is room for a big crowd to mingle, a long buffet, and space for the children while the adults say l’chaim.

  • Covered, with lighting for evening events
  • A grill for barbecue
  • Brick pizza oven

The crowd favorite

Brick-oven pizza and barbecue

Ask anyone who has been to a Bait Aaron Melaveh Malka or a Yom Tov Kiddush: the food from the fire is what people remember.

Fresh from the brick oven

Pizza pulled straight from the oven, topping by topping, for a Melaveh Malka, an upsherin or a vort the kids will talk about for weeks.

Off the grill

Kabobs, burgers and barbecue grilled outside on the spot, for a bar mitzvah afternoon, a Sheva Brachot or a summer Kiddush.

Simchas we host

From a shalom zachar to Sheva Brachot

Every simcha is a reason to thank Hashem together. These are the celebrations families most often bring to a shul hall rental.

Guests walking on Shabbat can use our walking directions. Check the LA eruv status before carrying.

Planning

What to plan

  1. Pick your date. Check it against Shabbat, Yom Tov and the minyan schedule, then reach out early, especially for a Shabbat simcha.
  2. Choose the food. Bring any kosher caterer you like, or let Bait Aaron cater it for you. Brick-oven pizza and barbecue are always a hit.
  3. Tell us about the davening. If the simcha includes an aliyah, a Torah reading, a bris after Shacharit or a siyum, let us know when you book so it fits the minyan.
  4. Plan the room. Use our tables and chairs or bring your own, and decide whether the crowd sits inside, outside or both.
  5. Look after your guests. Book hotel rooms within walking distance for Shabbat, and share our Shabbat in Los Angeles planner with out-of-town family.
